When Facebook makes changes, we all have to work a little harder to get caught up! In some cases, our business pages are caught in limbo until we modify and tweak all of the little settings.
I noticed right away that my client’s Facebook pages were going to need some work. Not just cover photos, but app images as well. We can no longer make an app a default landing tab for Facebook, so those little thumbnails are even more important if we want our visitors to click on them!
Here’s a step-by-step guide to change the default application thumbnails in the new Facebook timeline.
Step 1: View the preview of your Facebook Timeline for Pages. Take note of which applications are displaying with default images.

Step 3. Click on the Apps link on the left side of the screen.

Step 4. Select the application that you want to edit and click the Edit Settings link.

Step 5. Click on the word Change to the right of the Custom Tab Image setting.

Step 6. Upload a new image. The image should be 111 x 74 pixels. Save the change made after uploading.

Step 7. Go back to your page and confirm the image has changed.

What are you waiting for? Get started right away, especially if you have multiple properties to fix. Give us a call if you need some help with your own pages!
